Only one has been removed so far, One of the last comments by one of the
orig. savlage crew on the History?? channel special about Glacier Girl was
that there were 6? more up there if they wanted to restore another one.

Wasn't a C-47 Hugh, no need to go looking for those things, they are
still plying their trade in various areas around the globe, including
Nantuckett. What landed on the ice with the P-38's was a B-17,
possibly an E model but I'm not sure of that detail. Just looked at
the website, the original flight occured in July of 1942 so the B-17
was very likely a model E, which would make it very rare.
Not sure the rest of the P-38's are any more crushed than the one that
was brought up and restored.
