I'm wondering if you bothered to read the 9/11 commission report or are
you basing your rants on what others have written.

The report is available at:

It's 120 pages long with the first 50-odd pages concerning the timeline
of the attacks. The remaining pages concern security and the warnings
given by the FAA. Yes, the FAA gave security briefings to airlines and
airports before 9/11.
