I drilled some very small holes in the backside of the control yoke and
gently tapped them to accept a small screw. Attached a piece of
aluminum with a SPST NO push button switch from a local electronics
store. A curly cord attached to the yoke with a cable tie and thru the
inst panel with a strain relief. Seems to work well and my mechanic
had no problem with it. Only regret is that I didn't buy a high
quality switch and may have to change it. I didn't invent this whole
idea, I stole it from the folks on the group. You know who you are
