We don't use N numbers; it's all letters in the registration and we
have lots of fun flying into the States. A trip a few years ago with
Cessna 180 C-FIAC through Salt Lake sounded something like this:
Us: "Salt Lake terminal, Canadian Cessna 180 Charlie Foxtrot India
Alpha Charlie 20 miles North, 5,000, enroute Provo."
Them: "Canadian Charlie Indie Alphia..." Click.
Them: "Canadian Charlia Foxtrot Alphie Ind..." Click.
Them: "Canadian 180, Maintain 5,000, stay east of the highway."
