Yep, and that's what I do. VFR all the way.

well for us non instrument trained pilots there is a sudden effect to
our entering cloud.
This is known as the 'graveyard spiral' and doesn't do a ****load of
good for pilot, pax or airframe

Besides, who wants to fly if you can't see anything. Sounds like an
absolutely horrible waste of time to me.
