I didn't have any problems on my laptop (Compaq) but my NavAero crashes
anytime I fly above 10,000ft for two or more hours. Five flights, five
crashes. No problem at up to 9,000. In fact, 9,500 VFR from Atlanta
yesterday, no prob.

I used wx works on a laptop & a TPad 800 for a while before I got my
NavAero
computer. Doable if you watch the cables.

I had to get a transformer (24v to 12v) and a converter because the laptop
would not run 3 hours. Also, watch the hard drive. Will it run at
9-11,000
ft?

I have a Fujitsu ST4121 and have approx 150 hours on it in the
cockpit. I regularly fly at 11.5k. No problems yet... But hard drive
crash due to high density altitude is a potential problem.
