the rest of the year, is there a place you can get rental insurance for
just the 1 day?
In other words, is it possible to get renter's hull insurance for a
plane rental - similar to the way they offer optional collision and
liability insurance with a rental car?
If you have owner's insurance, you may already have non-owned. If not,
contact the FBO where you want to rent the plane. Although rare, it is
possible to rent an airplane fully insured, the rates obviously would be
steeper.
Check with AOPAIA also.
