The designer of the Bearhawk, Bob Barows designed a tandem (2 place)
version of the bearhawk called the patrol. Still not sport pilot, but he
is working on a sport pilot version of the patrol, for 65-100hp. Expects
to be finished in about a year.

What surprises me is that nobody has plans for a side by side at sport
pilot gross. There are a number of nice planes out there, such as the
Highlander, but no plans builts!
