Hi Dave,
I just saw that suggestion from Peter and thought "I should have
thought of that before". I am a member and will call them tomorrow.
I didn't call them before my medical as I had mentioned the Apnea to
my first AME and he didn't make a big deal of it. Asked me a few
questions about it, but didn't write it down on the form. So, I
figured it would be no big deal again this time.
All I can think along those lines are different conditions come to the
forefront in the FAA's "watch out for" list at different times.
Obviously sometime in the last two years -- a situation came up with a
pilot who had Apnea and now its on the FAA interest list. Oh well...
Thanks for the AOPA suggestion. I will call them in the morning.

I don't see any mention of AOPA. Call AOPA right away. You probably should have
done so before seeing your AME. DGB

Hi everyone,
I've run into a problem with renewing my medical because of a
diagnosis of Sleep Apnea. It didn't cause me to fail my medical, but
I didn't pass either.
