Apparently it had been hoped that Bax's condition would improve enough to
allow him to resume writing his column, and by the time it became clear that
wasn't going to happen he wasn't able to write a farewell. A shame, my two
favorite items in "Flying" were "Bax Seat" and Len Morgan's "Vectors".
