Garmin 430 vs 196 questions
It has been my experience that the procedure takes you to the end of the
runway. Perhaps it's the IFR nature of the product or the reference point
so close enough to the centerline that it's not apparent.
Although, when nav'ing Direct to the airport, I believe the GPS points to
the airport reference point. But at that point I'm entering the pattern VFR
anyway.

Doesn't that take you to the airport reference point, though? Or doesn't
the difference between the ARP and the landing runway matter when you are
many miles from the airport?
