The editor of E-News is a volunteer, and accepts material, as
submitted. Sometimes it gets "edited", sometimes it just goes to press
on time. Weekly. Every week. For almost a full year....

What is notable is that you could have sent your comment to the Editor,
as the contact address is on the front page of the E-News.
in case you can't find it.
But I forwarded your comment to them.
Or you could have mailed directly to Diane, who works tremendously hard
for glider pilots. Her address was at the tail of her Notes column. As
it is, every week.

I should also notice, and appreciate, that you are reading the E-News
so VERY closely.
It must have some good value for you to spend that much time on it.

I like it. It offers a quicker insight into the goings on at Hobbs, and
amongst Committees. It has offered notice of Regional events, such as
the newest National Landmark of Soaring dedication in October, the
freshest news on upcoming Convention plans, open posting of
Airworthiness Directives that may impact gliders and towplanes,
the schedule for Instructor Clinics for 2006, and can be used by
members and groups as a quicker tool for getting news out to other
soaring pilots. Send stuff to the E-News!

It is an additional service for SSA members. If you haven't already
done so, log in to the SSA home page as a member, click under News &
Information, and click the top box for Subscribe to E-News. Then you
will receive a personal e-mail when each issue is posted.

I didn't pass this through spell-check, so have a go at it. :-)
Thanks for giving me a chance to toot the horn for the E-News.
