Hi everyone. I have been running straight SAE 40 mineral oil since I had a
cylinder replaced. That was about 15 hours ago. My A&P says that I should
think about switching to AD now. The general wisdom has been that switching
to AD after break-in should be done after 25 to 50 hours.

Since only one cylinder has been off, I don't think I would notice a
difference in oil consumption when the rings on the new cylinder are seated.
Should I just make the switch now or wait a bit longer?
