ANR headset - which one??
Kevin,
We just got a couple of the Bose ANR headsets at work...unfortunately they
won't interface with our ICS in the Chinook. A buddy and I took them out on
the flightline one day and turned on the ANR with the APU running to see
what it was like, and good God, was it quiet.
I KNOW there's no way an R-22 can compare with the King of the Whop-Whop's
( read H-47 at over 120 decibels) for noise...just my 2 cents.

The Clarks are OK, BOSE way expensive. I discovered a long time ago
that ear plugs under the headset did the same thing and a lot cheaper!
BTW, there is a question over in Just Helicopters in the new forum
regarding simulators. Thought you could give some good input there if
you choose to go visit.

I'll go have a look... Cancelled the Bose order and am doing some
more research.. I sure like the H10-56HXL from DC tho....
