Well you can't go wrong with the DC's...We've been using them for years, and
they seem to be able to take a beating from both the crew guys and the
customers...

We just got a couple of the Bose ANR headsets at work...unfortunately

won't interface with our ICS in the Chinook. A buddy and I took them out

the flightline one day and turned on the ANR with the APU running to see
what it was like, and good God, was it quiet.

I KNOW there's no way an R-22 can compare with the King of the
Whop-Whop's
( read H-47 at over 120 decibels) for noise...just my 2 cents.

I ended up with the David Clark H10-56HXL units. Very quiet and very
comfortable.. Definitely worth the $600 they cost me. (and my kid
can wear my old H10-13s now )
