Default FS: 1946 Aeronca 7BCM that Needs Recovering

My father and I purchased the Champ in 1999 and flew it for a year and
some. We purchased a Citabria to tow gliders and have been flying that
ever since. The Champ was great with the 65 hp engine, as it burns 3.5
gallons per hour. We talk the wings off and were going to recover them
for the spar AD. The wood spars look great. We too k the glass out of
the fuseladge and purchased a new fiberglass instrument panel. The 65
hp Continental has approximately 600 hours on since OH and the frame
is approximately 4K hours. There are mo electronics and we have Bendix
Mags with it. The airplane has had no major damage history since new
and flew straight. The fuseladge was last recovered in the 80's. We
simply have too many projects and don't see get her flying within the
next five years. We have a metal prop, new fiberglass coweling, and
oversize tires.

We are asking $16,500 but will entertain offers. Best Offer considered.
