I don't know if it's legal, moral or politically correct but it worked
okay. Jig got trammelled zero-zero on all three axies and things lined
up so nice that some of the holes even matched. After that it was
'round the clock assholes & elbows for a couple of days turning
write-offs into flying machines.

You know, given enough hurricanes a guy could earn a living fixin'
aeroplanes...

Friend of mine called me up yesterday. He owns both an Ercoupe and a 200 hp
Beech Musketeer. I knew something might be wrong when he asked me where he
could find, "a Musketeer fuselage and tail from the baggage compartment
back".

Seems he was trying to jump-start the engine, so he pulled the nose of his
truck up next to the fuselage. He got the engine started and was leaning
over (I don't know where his battery is located) to remove the jumper cables
when the engine, "went to full throttle". The Beech jumped the chocks,
straightened out the "S" hooks on the tiedown chains and the tail proceeded
up and over the hood of his truck.

I guess the fuselage looks like Spaceship One in dethermalizer mode. Shall I
send him down for your splicing service, Mr. Hoover?

Anyone know of an extra half-fuselage for sale?
