Actually, the Navy's Top Gun is the answer to Red Flag, which predates
the Top Gun program by several years.

Both you clowns are wrong. Red Flag was created to fly the first 10 days
of a massive air war against Russia. The youngest pilots in squadrons are
brought in to get realistic combat experience with over 100 jets fighting
in the exercise.
