"Kerne Erickson graduated from the Los Angeles Art Center College of
Design. After graduating from Art Center, he spent years as a
freelance graphic artist, all the while compiling a valuable collection
of information from the innumerable and varying demands made by his
clientele which brought forth his style.

His style is evidence of hand brush and paint which does not in any way
distract the impact of a completed work. Since 2002, Mr. Erickson has
done work for Travel and Aloha Images offered by GregYoung
Publications. With nearly twenty of Mr. Erickson's pieces in line
with the focus on travel to the Hawaiian Islands, he has an almost
equal number depicting landmarks all over the United States as well as
some landmarks abroad.

A meticulous researcher, he tracks the slightest details-from license
plates to period clothing-to render them historically accurate in his
finished paintings. His works is admired by aviation and travel
historians as well as fine art collectors.

Mr. Erickson is a member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters
Society. He was awarded the Recipient of the Most Innovative Painting
at the National Oil and Acrylic Painters exhibit in Osge Beach,
Missouri.

Among many other awards, Mr. Erickson received the Patron Purchase
Award at the 1997 Watercolor USA Juried Show in Springfield, Missouri,
and the Gold Award at the 1994 California Discovery Awards Juried
Competition.

Mr. Erickson presently resides in California."
