Default Anybody flying one of these- would like to hear your experiences?

I flew the Silent2, 13m winglet, self-launching version. The Targa is
the latest development, with 13,3 m span, different winglets and (most
important IMHO) a retractable landing gear.

The engine is excellent, runs smooth at any throttle setting thanks to
the electronic injection and modern mapped ignition. I would have
liked to have some more power, though; especially for high altitude
operation.

Controls are beautifully balanced and harmonized, just like the best
of modern gliders; the rudder forces are extremely light, and that's
good for comfort over long flights. Stall behaviour is forgiving and
predictable.

Performance is honest, more or less as advertised. It will degrade
quite steeply at speeds higher than 70kts. Probably better than a
Libelle, slightly worse than ASW15/Cirrus.
