Only if you are British Airways.



It was BA which returned to Bangkok after losing
no 3 engine on takeoff in a 747-400. The roll
felt to last forever and we lifted shortly before
opposing PAPI lights. We climbed to Gulf of Siam,
dumped fuel for nearly an hour and returned.


This happened about ten years ago.


It was BA which took a 747 all the way from LAX to the UK on 3 after a
loss on takeoff just a few months ago.
