Chicago? Aviators? Flyover???
Does Daley know about this?
CHICAGO TO CELEBRATE AVIATION'S PIONEER COLORFUL WOMEN
The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) will participate in an April
29 ceremony in Chicago commemorating Aviation's Pioneer Colorful Women.
Among those being honored is the late Bessie Coleman, who will also be
among those formally inducted into the Hall of Fame later this summer.
The public memorial will be held at Lincoln Cemetery, in Chicago,
Illinois, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. The date marks the 80th
anniversary of Coleman's accidental death while practicing for a 1926
Florida air show. At approximately 3:20 p.m. several aircraft will fly
over in formation and a flower-drop will take place. For additional
information on Aviation's Pioneer Colorful Women and the upcoming
memorial and flyover, contact Rufus A. Hunt, Jr., at 773/785-9015.
I hate to say it, but it looks like the city is playing the race card in
an attempt to diminish their anti-aviation bias.
