Was told by an FAA FSDO employee that the General Aviation Safety
Programs (as we have known them) will be gone by July. Future programs
will be given by volunteers, with one FAA program coordinator (my term)
for each region.

Yep, I heard the same thing from our FSDO in Des Moines. Roger Clark,
the long-time safety seminar presenter, is being reassigned to "other
duties"...

It's too bad -- I thought they were good programs, and well done.
