This seems to be the flight track:
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N120HS
It looks consistent with the BMG ILS 35 approach
(
http://www.naco.faa.gov/d-tpp/0604/05168IL35.PDF
),
though the article doesn't say whether the flight was IFR or VFR.
According to the FAA database, the pilot was instrument (and multi-engine)
rated.
The preliminary NTSB report is out now:
http://www.ntsb.gov/NTSB/brief.asp?e...25X00483&key=1
There was a (nonfatal) 1986 crash on the same ILS approach:
http://www.ntsb.gov/NTSB/brief.asp?e...13X35331&key=1
(The NTSB database lists five fatal accidents at BMG, totaling eleven
deaths.)
