"1941" was mostly about a surfaced Japanese sub attacking an amusement park
with a deck gun the day after Pearl, plus a lot of other mayhem thrown in.

And it's the other mayhem, specifically the airplane stuff, that I'm talking
about - Capt. Wild Bill Kelso and his antics, and then Captain Loomis
Birkhead and his girlfriend.
