Um, no offense, 'Maule', but if I saw something in the thread
which already explained the problem/solution, I wouldn't have
posted, so the instruction to "read above" isn't too informative
to me.

I read on google.groups these days. Some people set their
headers so their posts aren't archived. Other posts simply don't
show up due to uneven newsfeed propegation.

So if you don't mind, what's the 'skinny'?
