Default Teach W to fly

Another thing he advocated: A divided government. If you had a
Democratic Congress, make sure you had a Republican president -- and
vice versa.

I, of course, again thought he was nuts. I am now prepared to admit
that he was, once again, 100% correct. All you have to do is look at
the cluster-f*ck we've got going on in Washington to realize that
having both branches of the federal government (I'm not counting the
courts -- that's another issue) controlled by a single party is a very,
very bad idea. It shouldn't be -- but it is.

The Republicans have proven that they are incapable of governing, in
much the same way that the Democrats proved their incompetence when
they had complete dominance of the Federal Government. Therefore, for
the first time in my life, I am faced with the very real possibility of
voting for a Democrat in the fall -- or not voting at all.

It's disgusting, but I don't see any alternative.

Thought: Democrats had both house of Congress for all but two years from
1954 to 1995. During that time, they had both Congress and the White House
for 14 years. All 14 fo those from 1961 to 1994.

The R's, now have had both Congress and the WH for five years. So, when were
the foundation for the present cluster-f*$k laid out?

Recall, too, that FDR did his big power grabs during a time the Republicans
had Congress.

Then, too, "Ain't a dimes worth of difference" holds true, especially when
referring to statists.

Finally, all the bozo's were put into office via election by your friends
and neighbors (lining up at the trough).
