Default Simulator for Complex time

I'm working on my Commercial certificate. I've got about 4.5 hours in a
PFCAATD simulating the Bonanza I'm going to use for the complex part of my
checkride. The rest of the time is in the Bonanza plus 1.5 in an Arrow.

Question: Does the 4.5 in the simulator count towards the 10 hours of
complex I need? Side question: Does the 10 hours have to be dual? Or do
you
just need 10 hours?

FAR 61.129a3ii requires "10 hours of training in an airplane that has a
retractable landing gear, flaps, and a controllable pitch propeller, or is
turbine-powered". A simulator is not an airplane, so simulator time doesn't
count toward this requirement.

FAR 61.1b6 defines "flight training" as training received in flight from an
instructor (hence dual).
