Speaking of Golden Age aircraft, has anyone seen the birds at the museum at Creve Coeur (1h0) in St. Louis? Three
hangers packed with old birds, some that Lindbergh flew, most all airworthy and flown yearly. Lots of very cool
planes in the other hangars also... Great stop if you are in the area!
Yep, we've visited Creve Coeur twice, thanks to recommendations from this group. It's a fantastic place, too!
I just spent some time poking around for pictures from Creve Coeur, but came up empty. I *DID* find pix I took during
the National Air Tour back in '03, when many of these Golden Age of Flight planes actually flew across the country.
