Well, John, on the one hand I was sorely tempted to tell you to put a sock
in it. But this is Usenet, after all - and you did include a smiley.

Creative writing is an ambiguous term. If you meant fiction, no the event
occurred and was transcribed that afternoon. CJ filed an ASRS report the
following day regarding a violation of FAR 91.159 and made me wait until
after he received the ASRS receipt from NASA before allowing me to make it
public. Somewhere in the warrens of Joshua Approach, there lies an
incriminating tape recording of the event.

No one in their right mind would rely on, much less solicit technical advice
from Usenet denizens. I get that by buying lunch for my CFI buddy.
