Whenever landing at a towered airport, everyone always makes a point
about indicating their status, too, right?

"Santa Monica Tower, Cessna 1234 Foxtrot Pacific Palisades, landing
with Delta, everything's fine."

"Santa Monica Tower, Cessna 1234 Foxtrot turning right base for 21,
everything's fine."

Silly reporter..... Aviation needs to be aggressive about grooming
connections with local media to have pilots that can help keep these
stories accurate.
