Download Goodle Earth and turn on the airports function.
As you zoom into a region, a little airplane symbol appears.
In the toolbar, there is a measurement tool to determine distance from
point A to point B is you want to walk.
From overhead, if you double-click on the approach end of a runway, you
can tilt the image down to simulate what the approach picture will look
like. Then use the forward button to "fly" to the runway.
