Default On RAT

Is there an airspeed limitation for its deployment?

If you are refering to the Ram Air Turbine on the A-320 series, 320 knots is the maximum
and 140 knots is the minimum. The larger series RAT will provide electricity down below
100 knots but pilots don't readily know which size RAT is installed.

Thanks Capn. Yes that was what I was looking for. I asked because it
struck me that being of a somewhat comparable nature, it might just
have limitations similar to the landing gear. But the 140 kts minimum
sounds somewhat high - could well imply that at a Vref of 125 kts, you
might be touching down without much hydraulics! Or am I missing
something?

And is it true that this RAT is also called the ADG (air-driven
generator)?

Cheers,
