EB28 Electronic Turbulators
The EB28 has the usual blow-holes on the underside of the wings that control
the boundary layer separation. The airflow to these holes is controlled by
electrically operated valves that open or close in response to the glider's
airspeed. This is supposed to optimise the turbulating effect of the holes
in accordance with the glider's airspeed.

I've just read this months offering of Sailplane and Gliding. there is an
article on the new EB28 and in the article they reference having had
electronic turbulators fitted. Could someone explain what these are
please.
Thanks,
Phil
