I am building a BushCaddy which is very much like a Cub in appearance.
I have been searching for good quality Fuel Sight Gauges that get
mounted in the cabin through the wing root. have been unable to locate
anything so far. Does anybody have a source or lead? Thanks. Don...
You can buy FAA/PMA sight gauges from Dakota Cub but they are super
pricey. Same for Univair. I was able to buy the sight gauges that are
used in the Smith Cubs. Excellent quality and less than half the price
of others. They were listed on Koz Aero's website but I see they are
no longer there. Go to
www.supercub.org
and do a search on "sight
gauges" for more suggestions.
my murphy rebel uses plastic tubing for sight guages. use tygothane
tubing to stand up to gass. The glass gauges are nice but sometimes
they will discolour over time
