Did Congress really ask for this?
In 1980s Congressional testimony the FAA was told
that airmen should not get their medicals unless it could
be predicted there was less than a 1 per cent chance of a
cardiac event in the next five years.
I would appreciate whatever information is available on this
testimony - preferably the full text of the discussion and
who said what.
Go to a *research* library, such as one at the nearest university.
If you live near a STATE university, it is probably a "Depository"
library. That means the Feds "deposit" there all the stuff that pours
out of the Government Printing Office. (The one here at Penn State
even gets Sectionals, Terminal Area Charts and WACs.)
Such a library should have everything you want.
