Default BD-18

John,

Last I heard he was trying to unload it. I have never seen any report
that it has ever flown but I haven't been trying to keep up either. I
suspect not.

Did Juan ever get his BD-5 test hopped and flying? Used to be a lot of
yak about the bird but haven't seen anything now for a long time.

First you have to convince me why I should waste any more of my valuable
time with you. If you think _that's_ an unreasonable question, do explain
why.

Besides, I said you're the schmuck who claims so much knowledge of the BD-10
that you think you know how many people who have flown the BD-10 are still
flying. I didn't say I'm the type expert. There's at least one person who
hangs out here who knows more about the BD-10 than I do. But he probably
won't waste his time with you either, seeing as how you're on a mission to
**** off all homebuilders.

Bwah bwah bwah.

I'm essentially right, am I not?

I don't know the exact numbers but I know the BD-10 program was a
complete debacle. And I'm reasonably sure no one thinks it can go
transonic without coming apart, which is the key reason it's been
abandoned. If the basic aerodynamics were even in the ballpark, it, or
a similar aircraft, would be being actively pursued.

I have several friends who are homebuilders. They may not like a few
of the things i say but they understand I'm not against homebuilding,
but the errant notions being sold to people by hucksters and pegboy
airplane magazine writers. I suppose if I came out saying Amway was
bogus, you'd say i was against using soap.
You really must understand, Jaun has two people he worships, one is Jim
Bede and the other is Jim Campbell. I would almost bet he worships Jim
Jones too. Jaun has never been wrong about anything and if you don't
believe me, ask him. (At least he will never admit that he has been
wrong.)

Haven't you heard? He got zoom to fly it to 80 kilofeet and mach
2.1 wile doing 8g maneuvers.
