Each operates individually:
You would then hold FAA Wings 1 Airplane
and FAA SeaWings 1 Seaplane.
I hold FAA Wings 18 Airplane
and FAA SeaWings 5 Seaplane
Yes, that is 23 different years (and only one "wings per year").
I haven't even started in on glider wings. :-)
