Wow, ages since I have posted here, although I have been reading almost
every post every day.

Just a quick note about where I've been, first off, kids! I'm 3 for 3 -
yip, another girl, Sarah arrived a couple of weeks ago - she's cute! Also,
been working nights and days on WingX 2.0 which is now available.

WingX 2.0 adds:
- Approach charts - very easy to scroll with your finger
- Patent-pending SmartTaxi Technology (WingX will both visually and verbally
warn you when you are close and/or on a runway and tell you how much runway
there is in front of you) - I wish Flight 5191 had this...
- Night Vision - shows charts white on black, in red, blue, or green tint.
The inverted image will keep moutains orange, not turn them blue.
- Helicopter/lateral W&B
- Weather Images
....

Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know about the girls, WingX 2.0, and that I
am still actively involved in a reading capacity of these NGs. Congrats to
all those who have soloed and passed a checkride recently. I haven't been
flying enough, but I figured that if I was down at Aircraft Spruce's Super
Sale on Oct 7, that would give me a reason to take the Arrow from RHV down
to the LA area. If anyone from this NG is out there, please stop by the
booth/table and say Hi.
