Advanced rating training as Wings credit

As long as your training consists of the three hours of required
instruction (I believe it would!), then all you need to do for WINGS credit
is attend a seminar and do emergency procedures and get that sign-off.

Thanks, Barry.
I just found AC61-91H, which agrees with you, and states the logbook
endorsement I need the CFI to make. I've attended a few seminars this
year, and plan on hitting another next Monday.
One more question: Do you know the form number or any other information
for the FSDO Wings application? The AC and the SPANS site say to "send
your application to the FSDO", but I can't seem to locate a specific
form to do so. At home I have some signed off seminar attendance forms
that include spaces for date / details / CFI info for the flight
portion. Is that the form? I'm confused, as they don't look like
typical official FAA documents.
Thanks again!
