I understand that they need to make profit and indeed it is a good thing
if one wants them to continue to operate, my point is that I would like
to know up front what it is before I commit.

I've been using Zoho since the spring and have found the service and
support (they're extremely responsive if you ask questions in the
forum) to be very good.

Interesting indeed, but did you read the Terms of Service? If I
understand it correctly, it saying something like: "whilst the service
is free now we reserve the right to charge you an undisclosed amount
some time in the future"
