The tail battery in the DG-1000 (and probably the 500/505) use a funky
connector that's a bit smaller than a cigarette lighter plug. It snaps
in place and holds on tight.

Does anyone know what this plug is called and/or where I can buy one (or
more) without traveling to Germany?

I'm assuming this is some sort of semi-standard German or European
connector, not something designed just for the folks at DG.

The few electrically minded folks I know haven't been able to identify
it. Anyone know?
