I'd like to visit as an adult (and maybe bring back a nice Icelandic
girl :P)

From what i remember about it, Iceland is a very strange place.
1) everything is expensive as hell (country barely produces anything
except fish and wool, so nearly everything consumer-related is
imported)
2) the island is about the size of kentucky, with just about as much to
do. (no offense to the State of Kentucky, or Iceland, but you can see
just about everything in both during the course of two weeks)
3) its an average of about 7C year round (like 6C all summer and 8C all
winter)
4) those miniature ponies (they're just weird)
