I love night flying, some parts of it I like more than daytime flying,
other than the issue of a possible off airport landing!

Anyone ever consider a set of night vision goggles, now available in
sporting goods catalogs, for aiding in selecting an off airport landing site
at night? The price has been coming down, and the quality has been coming
up.

I wonder if they would be helpful enough to consider buying for a private
pilot?
