I attempted formation flight in one with a friend who owns one. I found
that it had rather high breakout forces in the flight controls and that
the single lever power management had deadspots, which made it difficult
to fly the plane precisely.

My friend, however, had little trouble, since he was used to those
idiosyncracies.

Would I want one? No -- my 60-year-old Johnson Rocket is a lot more fun
to fly and gets me there almost as fast.
