Get yourself a newsreader that has powerful filtering, such as one that
deletes author and any posts with that author in the reference field (the
branch of a thread spawned by the author) and you will NEVER again see said
author or replies to it.

I have moved onto NewsMan Pro, which does this perfectly but is a payware
product sure to turn off many. Others here attest to Outlook Express'
advanced filtering, although the fact that OE renders HTML should give one
pause. In any case, you owe it to yourself if you desire to forever be
liberated.
