I saw it on the news - virtually rebuilt to flying status by
volunteers. Apparently, it's going to Longreach (Queensland -
birthplace of Qantas) for the museum. I don't remember hearing
JT-8's, so I'd have loved it to make a flying visit to Melbourne, but
alas...

B-707s (138Bs) were equiped with JT-3D engines, B-727s had JT-8s.
