Default Stainless steel exhaust

I've had the three bolt variety of exhaust ball joint on my 0320 powered
helicopter since 97 with no freeze up on any of them. They ain't cheap
though at $65 each.

Aircraft Spruce has an exhaust for Pitts, AcroSport, etc. Has anyone
used it? If so, did it fit and do you recomend. It bolts to the engine
and has ball joints for 2 straight pipes. I plan to use on an
AcroSport with AEIO-320.

I haven't used theirs, but my experience with ss ball joints is poor.
They freeze after a couple of dozen hours. I've had much better luck
with slip joints.

I have been using exhaust with ball joints for years on my RV-6 and have
had no problems with sticking ball joints. Many of the RV builders use
these exhaust made by Larry Vetterman and sold by Van's aircraft and
from Larry . I do not have a number for him but here is info from Van's

IMO these are top quality exhausts.
