Default Identifying a closed airport

I just happen to have Google Earth fired up and was looking at
my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. I scrolled up a bit north of my
parent's place, and happened to notice an airstrip slightly south of
Standing Bear Lake. It currently has X's on the runway. When I lived
there, I really didn't care about what was around there, because I
wasn't into aviation at the time. But now that I am, I am wondering
what this field is, or was.

If it's any help, the Google Earth info in my area is a couple of years old.
If the x was temporary, it could easily be gone now. I guess it's seldom that
an x is temporary on a small airport, by hopefully so.
