Default Israel may lease Boeing 767 tankers.

Israel and BOEING CO. are in talks to find a way for Israel to
lease tankers for refueling air force jets and discussing ideas
for homeland security products, Boeing executives said. Boeing
Integrated Defence [sic] Systems president and chief executive James
Albaugh told reporters in Tel Aviv the sides had been looking
for "creative ways" to make a deal possible for the lease of
767 tankers. "Israel, like many other countries, has funding
problems, so we are trying to find creative ways of giving them
the possibility of a tanker deal," Albaugh said. Albaugh, who
led a team of executives in talks with government officials,
state-owned Israel Aircraft Industries and other firms, said
the sides had also discussed the sale of Joint Direct Attack
Munition missiles, "sustainment and support" of F-15 fighter
jets and upgrades to C-130 aircraft.
